| Bayview is situated in the southwest sector of the City along the southeast edge of the Glenmore Reservoir. While the reservoir offers great views for most of Bayview’s residents, it has many recreational activities available to them. The Palliser community originally encompassed Pump Hill which was developed in the late 1960's. At the same time, Bayview was being developed into a primarily single family residential neighbourhood but was not established as a community until 1991. The pathway links to the Weaselhead Flats hiking trails, Glenmore Park, Heritage Park Historical Village and of course the Glenmore Reservoir. |
