Due to its population, the community centre offers a variety of recreational opportunities to its residents. Courses and programs include: soccer, volleyball, martial arts, dance, darts, yoga and fencing programs. It contains a large preschool, a banquet hall, a gym, an after school centre, a large field and an ice rink (which becomes a skateboard park in the summer). Beddington Community Association is involved with future projects of relevance to residents and is heavily involved with the planning of the Nose Creek Sports and Recreational Centre. The community also has two indoor ice arenas, an indoor swimming pool and of coarse many parks linked by the Nose Hill pathway system. Beddington is found on both sides of Centre Street is closest to Nose Hill Park. The shopping in this area is mainly on Centre Street and along 64th Ave which leads to the Deerfoot Outlet Mall.
